What’s New

Unti Vineyards, Dry Creek Valley

Father and son team, George and Mick Unti, have been making distinctive and powerful wines in Dry Creek for many years now. Having Italian heritage, they started planting Italian grape varieties, and quickly established themselves as a top CA producer.

More recently, in 2015, they hired winemaker Jason Valenti, whose highly intensive viticulture practices have dramatically improved on Unti’s already excellent Cal-Ital wines. Vineyard work started to pay off with the ’16 vintage and, starting with the ’17s, has truly propelled Unti to the pinnacle of Cal-Ital wine.
